Radionor Joins UK Tactical Communication Systems Framework for Military Communications Contracts.
TRONDHEIM, Norway, 2 July 2026 – Radionor Communications AS has been appointed to the UK’s Tactical Communication Systems Framework (RM6393), enabling the company to compete for future public sector procurements. The appointment is an important milestone and reflects the strength of Radionor’s digital phased array technology at a time where EW resilient communications and GNSS denied navigation is becoming critically important.
The framework covers Lot 2 (Systems), valued at up to GBP 4.7 billion, and Lot 3 (Components), valued at up to GBP 727 million. The agreement runs for an initial 3-year period, with options to extend for a total duration of up to eight years.
The appointment builds on Radionor’s continued investment in digital phased array technology, including the recent expansion of its advanced manufacturing capacity through a new production facility. This investment strengthens Radionor’s ability to deliver advanced, non-ITAR communications technology at a strategic scale and to further support future defence programmes.
“Radionor is proud to become part of the UK framework agreement with our digital phased array technology that enables connectivity in the most EW congested areas. This will further strengthen the bilateral relationship between Norway and the UK in the defence and security cooperation.” – Raymond Søderholm, CEO, Radionor Communications AS
The UK and other governments across Europe are investing in stronger and more EW resilient communications to support modern defence operations. Radionor is well positioned to support the growing demand for technologies that enable secure and reliable communication in an increasingly complex operational environment.
