Next generation tactical broadband radios

Never-seen-before technology with unmatched range

WE ARE HIRING

Who We Are

Radionor Communications was founded in 2000 and has since then developed next generation phased array technology for ultralong range wireless connectivity and high-accuracy localization. We deliver highly specialized products and systems for customers in need of ultralong range data links for military, aerospace and unmanned aircrafts.

Next generation technology

Ultralong range Broadband Phased Array Radio

The Cordis Array II advanced technology enables point-to-multipoint broadband links with unmatched jamming resilience. First line of electronic warfare defence is to maintain a minimal electromagnetic signature to operate undetected by an adversary which is the case using phased array technology by Radionor. Furthermore, the Cordis Array II uses advanced waveforms which gives a Low Probability of Detect (LPD), Low Probability of Intercept (LPI) and Anti-Jam (AJ) for increased mission effectiveness.

What We Do

Radionor Communications develops and produce the next generation tactical broadband radios based on phased array technology.

When you need high data capacity, ultralong range and reliable and jamming resilient communication, the Cordis Array II is the leading technology in the field. The Cordis Array II is based on the most recent developments in highly advanced digital array technology that supersedes conventional radios, like MIMO, in capability. The digital array technology has until now been used for advanced radar technology, but now, Radionor Communications brings this type of advanced beamforming technology into tactical communication systems for military operations. The technology gives a highly directive and extremely thin antenna beam which is key to important features like power concentration for long range robustness, low electromagnetic footprint and robustness against jamming. The capability of the technology makes it ideal for installations on aircraft, UAVs, ships, vehicles and soldiers.

Military

We provide tactical broadband radio with ultralong range for critical operations. Radionor Communication technology enables live streaming of high-resolution video combined with other high bandwidth sensor data, Blue Force tracking, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), and connectivity for Battle Management Systems. Our technology is combat proven.

ikon
Aerospace

We provide secure broadband links for high-capacity between air-to-ground and air-to-air systems. The point-to-multipoint capability makes the technology unique compared to conventional point-to-point technologies. We have a portfolio with successful integrations for several type of aircraft and helicopters. We can deliver turnkey integration solutions for aircraft and helicopters including certification.

Due to their planar nature, they are ideally suited to integrate with the exterior aircraft structure, making them conformable. This gives them two benefits: 1) not adding any drag to the platform, 2) not adding to the Radar Cross Section (RCS).

ikon
Unmanned

We provide broadband links for unmanned-, sea, air and land systems. Our broadband links provide ultralong range connectivity combining high-definition video and metadata transfer with sensor- and mission control. Our technology is ideal for combining connectivity for all mission-critical functionality for unmanned data links such as bandwidth control, priority for critical data transfer, error-free UDP streaming and latency control. Our smart antenna technology has an additional option for high-speed tracking of the UAV with high precision up to Mach 1, and can be utilized for GPS/GNSS denied navigation. We have successfully integrated the technology on many different UAVs – both fixed wing and rotary wing, from the smallest to the largest platforms.
